Saqqara Step Pyramid

Karnak Temple

Karnak Temple Complex was built during the Middle Kingdom (2000–1700 BCE) and the Ptolemaic Kingdom (305–30 BCE) on 247 acres to be the center of the religious life of ancient Egypt which was dedicated for the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. It contains the great Hypostyle Hall, the precinct of Mut and Amun-Re, and the Avenue of Sphinxes that leads to Luxor Temple.

Luxor Temple by Night

Luxor Temple came into existence during the New Kingdom (1570 – 1050 BC) in 1400 BC to perform the crowning of Pharaoh's ceremony many festivals were held in the temple like the Opet festival that celebrated the rejuvenation of kingship and honored the deities of ancient Egypt.

Hatshepsut Temple

Hatshepsut Temple dating to the 15th century BC is an immortal example of classical architecture. It was constructed to serve Hatshepsut’s mortuary royal Cults of Amun, hold the valley festival in the sanctuary of Amun.

Valley of the Kings

For more than 500 years Valley of the Kings served as a royal tomb during the new kingdom from the 6th till the 11th century BC. The Valley is hidden at the heart of a mountain containing 63 tombs to very famous nobility such as Tutankhamun, Seti I, the entire Ramses Dynasty.

Colossi of Memnon

The Colossi of Memnon of Pharaoh Amenhotep III was made in 1350 BC to stand at his great temple that was destroyed by time. It is 60 ft tall to honor his great achievements and preserve his heritage and legacy.

Edfu Temple

The Temple of Edfu of the sky falcon god Horus of protection and victory is one of the last temples to be built between 237-57 BC during the last day of the Greco-Roman era. The entire temple tells some of the greatest tales in the history of ancient Egypt about Horus's battle with the set.

Kom Ombo Temple

The rare double temples of Kom Ombo are one of the last temples to be built in ancient Egypt during the Ptolemaic Era “180-47 BC” to honor the deity Sobek source of the Nile and Horus the elder.

Aswan High Dam

Aswan High Dam was the key during the 60s to control the annual flood, save the water in lake Nasser and produce electricity to create an effective cultural and economic shift.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Unfinished Obelisk is a majestic wonder made by an order for Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) that was designed to stand at the Karnak Temple complex. It was left at the bedrock and is now an open museum that sheds light on the ancient Egyptian stone-working techniques.

Philae Temple

The Philae temple was replaced on Agilkia Island by UNESCO to preserve the legacy of the goddess Isis of motherhood. It was built in the 7th century BC in the Ptolemaic era to shed some light on the Myth of Osiris.

Abu Simbel Temples

The heavenly Temples of Abu Simbel were built by Ramses the Great (1303 – 1213 BC) in the 3rd century BC to keep his memory alive, immortalize his victory in the Kadesh Battle which resulted in the signing of the first document peace treaty, celebrate the annual sun festival on the 22 of October and February to honor the ancient Egyptian gods of Amun, Ra Horakhty, and Ptah, and showcase his devotion to his beloved wife Nefertari in the second temple.

Overnight

The family will head to Aswan airport to catch their flight to Cairo to check in at a 5* hotel and spend the night.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

The NMEC is a new wonder that adds to the greatness of Cairo, built-in 2017 to shed some light on some of the treasures of historical and cultural Egypt. All the mummies of some of the most famous kings and queens were transported to the museum and up to 40000 pieces of artifacts from all time periods.

The Hanging Church

The Hanging Church is a sacred monument that was constructed in the 3rd century in the same location that once held the holy family during their holy journey in Egypt.

Amr Ibn Al Aas Mosque

Amr Ibn Al-as Mosque was constructed in 641 AD as the first of its kind in Africa. It was enlarged and rebuilt various times for 600 years which enable it to shed some light on the evolution of Islamic architecture.

Ben Ezra Synagogue

The Ben Ezra Synagogue is an enchanting monument in 882 AD, famous for offering a deep insight into the Jewish heritage of Egypt.

Al Muizz Street

The majestic Al Muizz Street was created in the 10th century AD in the Islamic Fatimid era to be the heart of Cairo as a hub for the social, cultural, and economical life as seen across all the old houses, cafes, and countless streets that form the most epic labyrinth.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar

The Khan EL Khalili Bazaar is a majestic golden wonder made from shopping from 1382-1389 AD during the reign of Sultan Barguq in the Mamluk era. The street is home to the best artisan workshops and the finest exotic items in Egypt.

Salah El-Din Cairo Citadel is a majestic monument that was constructed on the highest land in Egypt between (1174 AD - 1848 AD). It was the government center from the 13th till the 9th century where it served as the core of the Islamic era during that period.

Mohamed Ali Mosque

The Mohamed Ali mosque is an enchanting construction found within the citadel of Salah El Din which was built in 1848 AD. It is a great example of Ottoman architecture and is famous for containing some captivating Islamic decorations.

Sultan Hassan Madrassa-Mosque

The Mosque-Madrasa of Sultan Hassan is an ideal example of the golden mamluk architecture, constructed in 1363 AD to possess marvelous designs and captivating decorations.

Al Rifai Mosque

Al Rifai Mosque was constructed in 1912 to be a mausoleum for the Muhammad Ali dynasty. It is able to shed some light on modernized ancient Egyptianislamic architecture.
