The Sphinx is a magnificent piece of art that was carved into a giant limestone statue that protects the entire Giza complex that resembles a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human, commonly believed to represent Pharaoh Khafre (2558 BC - 2532 BC). The golden Abu Simbel Temples are miraculous marvels which have an ancient temple complex dedicated to the Pharaoh Ramesses II (1279–1213 BC) and were constructed around 1264 BC to immortalize his legacy and his epic achievements like the battle of Kadesh that ended in 1274 BC by creating the first documented peace treaty in history. The temple consists of two main temples: the Great Temple of Abu Simbel and the smaller Temple of Hathor. The most remarkable feature of Abu Simbel is its colossal rock-cut statues of Ramesses II, which stand at the entrance of the temples plus the sun festival where his birthday and coronation are celebrated on the 22 of February and October of each year.

The unfinished obelisk is an ancient glorious that was commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1507–1458 BC) to stand at the entrance of the golden Karnak temple complex which carries her golden name. The obelisk was carved directly from the bedrock but was left unfinished due to a crack that appeared during the carving process. The unfinished obelisk provides valuable insights into the techniques and methods used by ancient Egyptians in quarrying and shaping obelisks.

The Philae Temple came into existence to become the worship center of Isis the goddess of motherhood which is known for its beautifully preserved reliefs and structures, depicting various scenes from Egyptian mythology and religious rituals. The temple of Isis came to be in the Ptolemaic period between 380-362 BC when the ancient art and architecture of Egypt were preserved to narrate the myth of Osiris plus the temple was relocated to the nearby island of Agilkia in the 70s.
