Giza Pyramids Complex

The greatest construction ever created in history on earth is the Giza plateau that dates to 4500 years old which hold:

The Great Pyramid

The last surviving member of the seven wonders of the ancient world was created in 2600 BC which was designed by Khufu main vizier Hemiunu and constructed to be 147 m (481 ft) tall with 2.3 million limestone blocks which weighs a total of 6 million tons. Despite its huge size, the great pyramid holds a complex interior filled with pathways and chambers like the king’s chamber, the Queen’s chamber, the grand hall, and more.

The Great Sphinx

The immortal Sphinx of Pharaoh Khafre (2558 – 2532 BC) carved the oldest man-made statue in existence in the shape of his face and a lion’s body plus an incredible dream Steele belonging to Thutmose IV was added in 1404 BC.

Saqqara Step Pyramid

The step pyramid of Saqqara was designed by Imhotep the main vizier of king Djoser between 2670 BC and 2650 BC which launched the golden era of pyramid constructions.

Memphis City

The legendary city of Memphis was the first unified capital of Egypt in 2925 BC under the watchful eye of Ptah the deity of art and craftsmanship. A fun fact about the city is that its original Greek name "Aigyptos" served as the origin current name of "Egypt".

The whole group will head back to their hotel for the overnight.

Salah El Din Citadel

The enduring fortress of Salah el din can be found on the highest point in Cairo which was constructed between 1176 and 1182 AD to become the headquarters of the central Egyptian Government until the 1860s. It holds a number of museums and mosques featuring the most amazing displays of Islamic art.

Mohamed Ali Mosque

The Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali came into existence to be an ideal symbol of independence and freedom from the Ottoman Empire. It was built between 1830 and 1848 AD inside the Cairo citadel to display the finest examples of Ottoman architecture and decorations.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

The NMEC is a highly new advanced and illuminating center made in 2017 to display 50000 epic pieces of artifacts from different ages of Egypt dating across 5000 years. The museum has a hall of mummies featuring up to 2 queens and 18 kings.

Al Muizz Street

The exquisite Al Muizz street came into reality in the 10th century AD during the Fatimid period which was the heart and soul of the capital of Cairo. The Muizz labyrinth is loaded with rich mixed art, history, and culture which are showcased across all the golden cafes and houses.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar

The Golden Street of Khan El Khalili Bazaar was constructed in 970 as the greatest center for shopping in the middle east and the central gathering for the finest local artisan workshops.

Aswan High Dam

The innovative high dam of Aswan was built in the mid-60s for the sole purpose of producing hydroelectricity, saving the annual floodwaters in lake Nasser.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The mystical unfinished obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut (1507 – 1458 BC) was destined to stand at the entrance of the Karnak temple complex but broken during the carving process within the bedrock, now it acts as an open-air museum showcasing the mastery skill of the ancient Egyptian craftsmen.

Philae Temple

The epic Philae temple was the house of Isis the goddess of motherhood that came into being in the 7th century BC during the Ptolemaic age to immortalize the immortal tale of her husband Osiris the ruler of the underworld.

Abu Simbel Temples

The extraordinary temples of Abu Simbel came into existence in 1264 BC to immortalize the grand legacy and achievements of Pharaoh Ramses the great (1303-1213 BC). The epic first temple tells the mystical tale of how Ozymandias won the epic battle of Kadesh in 1274 BC and signed the first documented peace treaty in history plus honors the gods of Ra-Horakhty, Ptah, Amun, and Ramsess himself through the magnificent sun festival on the 22 of February and October of each year. The small second temple is dedicated to his beloved wife Nefertari and the goddess Hathor.

Kom Ombo Temple

The twin temples of Kom Ombo were made between 180 BC and 47 BC in the Ptolemaic period to celebrate the two gods of the source of the Nile Sobek the crocodile god and Horus the elder on both sides of the temple plus it offers a great deal of information about the medical practices of ancient Egypt.

Edfu Temple

The grand house of Horus the main god of victory and divine protection was made between 237 BC and 57 BC in the Ptolemaic era to showcase the epic battle between Set and Horus. Edfu temple is one of the most preserved temples in Egypt which was the source of the most incredible religious beliefs of the ancient Egyptians.

Karnak Temples Complex

Hatshepsut Temple

The marvelous temple of Hatshepsut is a breathtaking construction that was carved by hand in 1479 BC into the rocky cliffs of Deir el Bahari on three levels to become an ideal model for the ancient classical architecture of Egypt.

Colossi of Memnon

The two everlasting and enduring wonders of Amenhotep III (1386 BC – 1350 BC) were carved in his own image from Quartize to be 18 m (60 ft) tall to shed some light on his achievements.
