It is 18 m (60 ft) tall which recalls numerous facts about the life and achievements of Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC). on the sides of the statues are107 Roman-era Latin and Greek inscriptions that showcase the golden tale of the Greek mythological king Memnon.
