The Great Pyramid

The great pyramid of Khufu (2609 – 2584 BC) is the last surviving wonder out of the legendary seven, standing at a height of 147 m and a total weight of about 6 million tons. Despite its colossal size, it holds a complex interior featuring incredible chambers such as the kings’ chamber, the grand valley, and a more mysterious room.

The Great Sphinx

The legendary man-made statue of King Khafre "The Sphinx" (2558 – 2532 BC) is the biggest and oldest in the world, constructed to show the facial features of the pharaoh, and stands as an example of his might and intelligence.

The Valley Temple

The valley temple was made in the old kingdom (2686 – 2134 BC) to prepare the bodies of kings and queens for the afterlife through the mummification process.

The Egyptian Museum

The majestic Egyptian Museum was a rare monument constructed in 1901 to house the heavenly artifacts of Egypt. It holds great artifacts and charming monuments dating back to the golden eras of ancient Egyptian civilization.

Overnight

The whole group will head to their Cairo hotel to spend the overnight.

Karnak Temple

The grants Karnak complex is a religious capital that came into existence from the Middle Kingdom (2000–1700 BCE) all the way to the Ptolemaic Kingdom (305–30 BCE). It is the biggest open-air museum on earth reaching up to 200 acres which took 1400 years to build to honor the Theban triad and other deities. The great hypostyle hall and the avenue of the sphinxes leading to the Luxor temple are considered to be its most beautiful features.

Luxor Temple by Night

The heavenly Luxor temple or the southern sanctuary is an art piece dating to 1400 BC where some of the most important royal and religious events were held such as the Opet festival that celebrated the kingship and the great Theban triad.

Valley of the Kings

The eternal Valley of the Kings is a hidden miracle in the belly of a holy hill filled with countless treasures up to 63 tombs that came to be from the 6th till the 11th century BC in the new kingdom (1570 – 1050 BC) to protect the legacy of most of the most famous names in ancient Egyptian history such as Tutankhamun, Seti I, Hatshepsut, Ramsess the great and many more.

Hatshepsut Temple

The majestic Hatshepsut temple is an example of everlasting beauty and elegant class that came to be in 1479 BC by being carved directly into the bedrock of Deir el-Bahari cliffs. It is considered by far the most preserved and beautiful piece of classical ancient Egyptian architecture to ever exist.

Colossi of Memnon

The two great statues of Colossi of Amenhotep III (1386 BC – 1350 BC) are 18 m (60 ft) tall and feature some amazing carvings featuring his family and his achievements.

Edfu Temple

The powerful Edfu temple is a legendary temple and one of the most preserved monuments of Egypt dating to the Ptolemaic age between 237-57 BC to honor the god of victory and divine protection.

Kom Ombo Temple

The rare double temple of Kom Ombo was built in 180-47 BC in the Ptolemaic era to honor Horus the elder and the crocodile god Sobek.

Aswan High Dam

In the mid-60s the modern and advanced hydroelectric project "Aswan High Dam" was built to protect Egypt from floods, save the waters in Lake Nasser, and push Egypt into the industrial age.

The Unfinished Obelisk

Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) wished this marvelous pillar of power "The Unfinished Obelisk" to stand at the Karnak temple but some things are not meant to be, it acts as an open museum showcasing the details and skills relating to ancient Egyptian craftsmanship.

Philae Temple

Philae temple is the house of Isis the goddess of motherhood which was built in the 7th century BC to immortalize her epic tale through carvings and decorations across its walls and shed some light on the religious atmosphere of ancient Egypt.

Abu Simbel Temples

The grand Abu Simbel temples were built according to the vision of Ramses the Great (1303 – 1213 BC) in the 3rd century BC to immortalize the Kadesh battle which witnessed the signing of the first documented peace treaty. The most important event that takes place on the 22 of October and February is to Honor the ancient Egyptian gods of Amun, Ra Horakhty, and Ptah plus Ramses the great himself. The second temple was made to showcase his love and devotion to his wife Nefertiti.
