The Great Pyramid

The miraculous archaeological wonder of Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC) is a legendary tomb created to reach the heavens. The Great Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu was constructed around 2570 BC and is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that acted as the immortal symbol of this glorious civilization. The Great Pyramid is made of limestone and originally stood at a height of around 146 meters (481 feet) which weighs a total of six million tons while facing the four cardinal points of the compass. It is estimated that it took around 15 years to complete its construction with the help of over 400,000 paid laborers. The main architect hemon made a highly advanced piece of architecture as seen across the king’s chamber, the grand hall, the queen’s chamber, and more.

The Great Sphinx

The enchanting and mythical blessing of the Sphinx of Pharaoh Khafre (2558 BC - 2532 BC) is a guardian creation that stood the test of time for ages carrying the face of Khafre on the gigantic body of a lion that was carved of limestone with the measurements of a Width of 19 meters (62 ft), a Length of 73 meters (240 ft), and a Height of 20 meters (66 ft). The Valley Temple

Saint Catherine Monastery

The Sacred Autonomous Royal Monastery of Saint Catherine of the Holy and God-Trodden Mount Sinai is one of the oldest continuously inhabited monastic communities in the world and is a UNESCO World Heritage site named after St. Catherine of Alexandria, a Christian martyr, whose relics are believed to be housed within the monastery. It was established in 565 AD by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I at the site where Moses is said to have encountered the burning bush and received the Ten Commandments. The location is considered sacred. St. Catherine's Monastery is known for its historical and religious significance by Christians, Jews, and Muslims.

It has a rich collection of religious and artistic treasures, including ancient manuscripts, icons, and other religious artifacts. The library of the monastery is renowned for its vast collection of ancient texts, including the Codex Sinaiticus and the Syriac Sinaiticus; the second-largest collection of early codices and manuscripts outside the Vatican Library. The monastery is surrounded by fortified walls and includes a chapel, a church, a library, and various monastic buildings.

Ras Muhammad

The marvelous Ras Mohamed National Park is a protected area located at the southernmost tip of the Sinai Peninsula, where the Gulf of Aqaba meets the Gulf of Suez It was established in 1983 on an area of 480 square kilometers (185 square miles) which makes it one of the most popular marine and terrestrial parks in Egypt and is recognized for its stunning natural beauty and diverse ecosystems. Ras Muhammad National Park is renowned for its rich biodiversity, both above and below the water. This golden habitat consists of desert landscapes, rocky hills, and sand dunes, while the marine area is made of more than 1,000 species of fish, 220 species of coral, seagrass beds, great sea creatures including colorful fish, turtles, dolphins, and even the occasional shark, and mangrove forests. It is home to the epic wreckage of the SS Thistlegorm which makes it a great place for diving.

Nabq Bay

The Nabq Protected Area is a significant protected area located in the northeastern part of the peninsula, between Dahab and Sharm El-Sheikh which was created in 1992 on an area of approximately 600 square kilometers (230 square miles) containing a diverse ecosystem filled with coastal areas, desert landscapes, marine wonders, and colossal mountains. It features stunning beaches, dunes, and coral reefs that are part of the magical Red Sea ecosystem that is famous for containing diverse flora and fauna, colorful fish, corals, turtles, and other marine creatures plus a variety of desert plants, mangrove forests, and endemic species. The magnificent Ras Abu Gallum Protectorate is located in the northeastern part of the peninsula, north of Dahab and south of Nuweiba. Wadi Degla

The Wadi Degla Protectorate is a natural haven located in the southeastern part of Cairo, Egypt. It is situated within the Wadi Degla Valley, a narrow canyon that stretches for about 30 kilometers (19 miles) and offers a natural escape from the bustling city. Wadi Degla Protectorate is known for its diverse ecosystems and unique geological formations like limestone rocks of the Eocene era. Lake Qarun

The tranquil Qaroun Lake or Lake Moeris is the largest lake in the Fayoum Oasis and one of the oldest natural lakes in the world. It is an important wetland area and a haven for migratory birds. It has a Surface area of 1,190 ha (2,940 acres), a water volume of 220×106 m3 (0×109 cu ft), and a Surface elevation of 861 m (2,825 ft).
