Giza Pyramids Complex

The Pyramids of Giza are the most impressive and recognizable monumental landmarks in the world which were mainly constructed to honor the spectacular kings of the 4^th dynasty. The three Pyramids of the Giza Complex are a world of imagination since they consist of burial chambers for the pharaoh and his family members which contain thousands of precious treasures.

The Great Pyramid

It's classified as one of the Seven Wonders of the World due to its vast height. It's the oldest and largest pyramid at the site and it's dedicated to King Cheops (2609 BC - 2584 BC). The Pyramid of Cheops is the final burial tomb for King Khufu and his wives which was completed in 2570 BC to become the tallest archaeological construction on earth for over 3800 years.

The Great Sphinx

The Great Sphinx is an awful scared statue of a lion with a human head which most myths assured that it refers to Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC). This gigantic sculpture measures 73 meters in length and 20 meters in height and it was presented as the guardian of the Giza Plateau and a model of Power and wisdom.

The Valley Temple

The Valley temple is a very massive building that was originally used as a mortuary temple for Pharaoh Chephren and it's a part of the Giza Pyramids Complex. The Valley temple is real proof of the important role of the fourth dynasty in Egypt civilization.

The Pyramids of Dahshur

Dahshur is a royal complex situated on the west bank of the Nile and it's known for several pyramids made by Pharaoh Snefru, the father of Khufu around 2700 - 2600 BC. However, two of them are the best-preserved monuments in Egypt. The Bent Pyramid was made from local limestone and it measures 101 meters high. And the Red Pyramid is dedicated to Pharaoh Snefru and is regarded as the first perfect and complete pyramid in history.

Karnak Temple

It's one of the best-preserved religious monuments which had maintained a special position throughout Ancient Egypt's history. Karnak temple was found across 247 acres which were created between 1971 BC and 30 BC mainly created by the Pharaohs of the New Kingdom to honor the ancient iconic god of Amun, the ruler of the universe.

Luxor Temple by Night

Luxor Temple is a large temple complex that was built approximately 1400 BCE to honor the creator god Amun. The site is made of sandstone blocks from Nubia and it's surrounded by mud-brick walls. The entrance of the Luxor temple is called the first pylon and it was built and decorated by Ramses II to show his military victories, especially at the Battle of Kadesh.

Valley of the Kings

This is the site that contains the wonderfully painted cemeteries of the kings, the royal family members, and the nobles of the New Kingdom. The valley of the kings had been set as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. More than 60 royal tombs were discovered at the site including the tombs of Rameses II, Seti I, Amenhotep I, Tutankhamun, Hatshepsut, and many more.

Hatshepsut Temple

Hatshepsut temple is the closest sample of classical architecture which was constructed upon the order of the Great Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC). The temple is located at the foot of the cliffs at Deir El Bahari and it was made of limestone unlike most of the other mortuary temples in the New Kingdom Period.

Colossi of Memnon

Colossi of Memnon consist of the two famed statues of Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC) which were founded in 1350 BC in the Theban Necropolis along the west bank of the Nile River. These twin sculptures were carved out of quartzite sandstone from El Gabal El Ahmar and has 107 magical inscriptions in ancient Greek and Latin across their sides.

Dendera Temple

Dendera temple is one of the best-preserved temples which covers approximately 40,000 square meters in Qena, around 60 kilometers north of Luxor. This magical attraction was made between 2250 BC and 343 BC and is surrounded by a mud-brick enclosed wall it's amazing to know that Dendara Complex is the main spot of ancient chapels and shrines.

Abydos Temple

Abydos temple is one of the holiest and oldest attractions in Ancient Egyptian history. Abydos Temple dates back to the Predynastic Period which served as a pilgrimage center for the worship of the god "Osiris". The major monument at the site is the Temple of Pharaoh Seti I (1290 BC - 1279 BC) which was built around 1300 BC and completed by Ramses II.

Valley of the Queens

It's one of the World's magnificent burial grave sites which was reserved for the queens and the royal princes and princesses of the New Kingdom. The valley of the queens was erected by the New Kingdom pharaohs and it was named "Ta-Set-Nefru" which means "The Place of Beauty". The most famous temple is Queen Nefertari (1290–1224 BCE) wife of Ramsess the great.

Habu Temple

It's a large ancient Egyptian complex that contains the most glorious inheritance of the ancient Egyptians. The complex started during the reign of the 18^th dynasty and was completed during the Roman Period. It is located on the Theban hills on the west bank of the Nile River by Ramses III (1187–1156 BC) The most renowned attraction at the site is The Mortuary Temple of Ramses III and the Cult of Amun.

Deir El-Medina

It's the settlement of over 100 families of craftsmen and artists who designed, constructed, and ornamented the royal private burial tombs of the kings and queens of Egypt. It was established during the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties of the New Kingdom (1570 - 1050 BC). The site had dazzled the whole world when it was found.

Edfu Temple

Edfu Temple is one of the most captivating historical sites in Egypt which dates back to the Ptolemaic reign. The works at the temple had started in 237 BC during the time of Ptolemy III and it was completed by 57 BC within the reign of Ptolemy IV. Edfu Temple consists of an entrance, and a chapel in addition to the Mamisi, the house of the divine birth of Horus.

Kom Ombo Temple

Kom Ombo Temple is a unique monument made between 180 BC and 47 BC because the building is a double design and the site consists of two symmetrical temples; the southern temple was used for the worship of the crocodile god Sobek and the northern building belongs to the falcon god Horus.

Abu Simbel Temples

The erection of such a spectacular Abu Simbel temple served many purposes. The major temple is dedicated to King Ramses which was constructed to memorize his own victory at the Battle of Kadesh. At the same time, it was completed in 1264 BC to honor Amun, Ptah, and Ra Horakhty, the heritage of Ozymandias. It honors the memory of the signing of the first documented peace treaty in 1247 BC. And the smaller temple is dedicated to the goddess Hathor and Queen Nefertari.

Kitchener Island

It's one of the best of Aswan landmarks where you can visit the Botanical Gardens of Aswan. Tourists can take a felucca or a motorboat to the east bank of the Nile to reach Kitchener Island. The place has gained its name when Lord Kitchener used this island to be the headquarters of his soldiers during his battles in Sudan.

Elephantine Island

It's situated from the west bank hillside along the Nile River, downstream from the first cataract in the Nile. Elephantine Island is the real representation for the beauty of Aswan. At very ancient times, the island was a very important trading center called Swenet.

Al Muizz Street

Al Muizz Street retained its importance as the main street through the Fatimid caliphate in the 10th century AD which exhibits the greatest of the impressive Fatimid, Ayyubid, and Ottoman ruins in Egypt.

Al Aqmar Mosque

Al Aqmar Mosque's one of the magnificent and oldest structures in Islamic Cairo and it's regarded as one of the most popular Fatimid ruins in Egypt. Al Aqmar Mosque has a unique architectural design since it uses an offset façade – its façade was designed to be squarely facing the main street while the rest of the mosque lies at an angle.

Al Hakim Mosqu

It's the second-largest mosque in Old Islamic Cairo which was erected between 990 and 1013 AD. The mosque is known for its unique structure reflecting the progress of Islamic architecture at this time since it has very significant pillars with some decorated corners and arches on both sides of the main entrance.

Bayt Al Suhaymi

Located at Al Darb Al Asfar, Bayt Al Suhaymi is one of the oldest and most elegant houses which had constructed during the 17^th century. The building is still one of the rarest examples of Cairo's finest architecture in the Medieval Ages.

Gayer-Anderson Museum

This captivating monument is the inheritance of the British officer, John Gayer-Anderson. The building is grandly decorated with Mashrabiyya screens and marble inlays and it also includes a room ornamented by gold taken from a house in Damascus that dates back to the 17^th century.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar

Khan El Khalili Bazaar is a great opportunity to amaze a wide selection of fabric shops and markets made between 1382 and 1389 AD. The site is a significant exhibition of a wide variety of food, goods, oil, and perfume.
