Giza Pyramids Complex

Colossi of Memnon

The supernatural Colossi of Memnon of Amenhotep III (1391–1353) were engraved of quartzite in 1350 BC to have a total height of 18 m (60ft) and each weighs roughly 720 tons. It was renovated many times in the Greco-Roman generation. All the magical inscriptions found on the statue are able to narrate the mythological tale of the mythical warrior king Memnon plus the vocal phenomenon of Eos the greek goddess of the dawn is a magical spectacle.
