Giza Pyramids Complex

Abu Simbel Temples

The temples of Abu Simbel were constructed between 1264 BC and 1244 BC by Ramses the great (1279-1213 BCE) to immortalize his legacy, pay homage to Amun, Horus & Ptah, immortalize the signing of the first-ever documented peace treaty in history in 1247 BC, and showcase his devotion to his wife Queen Nefertari.
